DIHSH will be hosting a presentation on Early African Americans on Deer Isle by Deer Isle resident Barbara and Alan Chesney. Their talk will share the history of African Americans on the Island .dating from 1765, and explore how thy arrived here, their significant contributions to the Island.

Open Wednesdays through Fridays from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.
