Just a reminder - the Archives will be starting "winter hours" on Wednesday, September 23rd from Noon to 3:00 PM. We will be open only on Wednesdays and Fridays. We have a "gold mine" of past information: the many books of Dr. Noyes; most of the different Island newspapers from the late 1800's to current; many scrapbooks, photos, maps, family genealogies, school yearbooks, archival collections from individuals, businesses, organizations, schools, churches, etc.; quilts and clothing from the past; and more.
